January 2025

Dear Blare Foundation Community,

As we step into the new year, we at the Blare Foundation are filled with gratitude for all we have accomplished together. 2024 was a year of growth, connection, and making a tangible impact in our community. Let’s take a moment to reflect on some of our key achievements:

  1. Guided Exploration Services Expansion: Last year, we expanded our Guided Exploration Services by 20%. These journeys have fostered personal growth, curiosity, and community engagement.

  2. Successful Fundraisers: Thanks to your support, our fundraising events exceeded expectations. Highlights include our Mosaics activity in October, which combined art and community collaboration to raise funds for our programs.

  3. Building Stronger Teams: We welcomed new team members, including Jake Grossman, who is spearheading financial management, and Kariely Valle, a passionate fundraiser. Their contributions have already made a significant impact on our operations and outreach.

  4. Community Partnerships: We strengthened ties with local organizations and institutions, including our ongoing collaboration with The Lazy Dog and BB Mosaics.

These achievements wouldn’t have been possible without your unwavering support. Together, we are creating a foundation for sustained impact and innovation.

Save the Date: Next Dine and Donate

Mark your calendars for our next Dine and Donate event on Monday January 6th! We will be at the Northbrook location from 12-1:30. Stop by and enjoy some delicious food and support a great cause! A portion of all proceeds will directly fund our programs and initiatives for 2025.

Volunteer Spotlight and Invitation

We are immensely grateful for our dedicated volunteers who make everything possible. If you’re looking for ways to contribute, we’d love to have you join our team. Whether it’s event planning, outreach, or program support, there’s a place for everyone at the Blare Foundation.

Monthly Spotlight: Celebrating Our Volunteers

Starting this year, we’re introducing a monthly spotlight in our newsletter to celebrate the amazing individuals who make the Blare Foundation’s work possible. This month, we are thrilled to feature Dana and David Bergman.

Dana has been a steadfast volunteer, contributing her time and energy to various events and initiatives. David, a board member, has been instrumental in guiding our organization with his expertise and commitment. Their dedication inspires us all, and we are deeply grateful for their contributions.

Looking Ahead

As we move further into 2025, we are committed to deepening our impact and exploring new opportunities for growth. With your support, we aim to expand our services, host more engaging events, and continue building a community rooted in empathy and action. Thank you for being an integral part of the Blare Foundation’s journey. Wishing you a joyful and prosperous New Year.

Warm regards,
